What is molybdenum?

Molybdenum is a naturally occurring element. This is what gives the product its food-safe properties.

The element molybdenum, which also gives the items in the PowerSteel collection their durability, is a special substance that is used to prevent rust and corrosion on ships, spacecraft and in similar industries to ensure a high level of durability.

Features:

• 316 stainless steel boasts the added rust resistance of molybdenum.
• Our PowerSteel products contain 18/12 carbon-nickel and 2 molybdenum.
• By adding molybdenum, 316 stainless steel is made more temperature-resistant. Compared to 304 stainless steel, it offers maximum durability.
• 18 indicates the chromium content in stainless materials (i.e. 18% chromium). The second value, 12, represents the nickel content (i.e. 12% nickel). The higher the ratio values, the higher the rust resistance.
• Due to the copper in the outer layer, this product is not suitable for use on induction hobs.
• Do not clean the product in the dishwasher.
